La serie CF propone focheggiatori per rifrattori interamente in metallo con finitura anodizzata lucida.

Le caratteristiche standard seguono quelle dell'intero sistema Moonlite: sistemi interamente in metallo con finitura anodizzata lucida, esecuzione impeccabile per una messa a fuoco dolcissima e della massima precisione, anche con carichi importanti (garantiti fino a 4kk sull'intera escursione di 140mm per il modello standard.

Tutti i focheggiatori sono collimabili con sistema push-pull.

Si aggiunge la scelta dei parametri che permettono un'ottimizzazione dei tubi ottici, come il drawtube di lunghezza e con corsa su misura.

Il modello CF2 implementa il riduttore micrometrico 1:8 su una delle due manopole.

Disponibili flange per gran parte dei rifrattori in commercio, e versioni su misura per strumenti particolari.

Sede CNC per cercatore, filettature per innesto diretto sui tubi ottici, ricavate dal pieno.

Il peso importante funge da contrappeso, e permette un montaggio del tubo ottico più in alto rispetto alla slitta della montatura,

Most smooth and precise focusing action, granted till to 4 kg weights.

All refractor focusers are collimatable by mean of a puch-pull system.

Flanges and threaded heads allow these units to be mounted on all OTAs, comprising custom made instruments.

Most basic units (CF1 m,odel) are completely adequate for most demanding uses.

CF2 adds 1:8 microfocusing action, allowing most smooth and precise focusing action possible.

Full thickness flanges act as counterweitghts, allowing OTAs to be mounted higher on the mounts' dovetails.

La dotazione standard comprende gli adattatori 1.25" e 2", il riduttore 1:8 con manopola Tri-Knob, gli anelli di serraggio perimetrale sul drawtube e adattatori.

Le opzioni sono analoghe a quelle disponibili per il resto del sistema Moonlite.

La motorizzazione Moonlite permette un controllo precisissimo del focheggiatore senza toccarlo, a distanza e in remoto.

Il movimento avviene traite motore stepper, per un posizionamento preciso e privo di inerzia.

Le possibilità di azionamento sono tramite:

handpad per la manovra "a mano": il cavo standard è garantito per lunghreezzze di 30 m.

L'handpad ospita due  pulsanti e due trigger; i primi sono per la intuitiva manovra "avanti-indietro"; i due trigger permettono di selezionare rispettivamente il numero di step per azionamento dei pulsanti e la velocità con cui gli step si susseguono: il risultato è un ampio campo di velocità, fino a valori bassissimi.

2) comando  da PC tramite qualsiasi programma che implementa la focheggiatura via  protocollo ASCOM ( lo standard per le applicazioni  nel settore astronomico).

Disponibili le opzioni dell'intero siustema Moonlite:

- disponibilità per attacchi su misura.

- manopola della riduzione 1:8 nella versione Tri-Knob (oversize e con entrambi i comandi "normale" e "ridotto" coassiali).

- anello di serraggio sul drawtube da 2" e sul riduttore 1.25".

- lunghezza del drawtube su richiesta.

- colori su richiesta.

Notiamo che i focheggiatori per Cassegrain e derivati in genere si avvantaggiano del sistema di messa a fuoco per shift del primario per ottenere un'adeguata escursione del fuoco, utilizzando poi una corsa (standard di 25mm) per il posizionamento e la messa a fuoco di precisione. Questo accorgimento necessita di un backfocus ridotto, il miglior mantenimento dei parametri ottici originali e non intaccano il campo di piena luce.

 In caso che lo strumento non preveda  la messa a fuoco per shift del primario è  necessario  impiegare un focheggiatore con corsa del drawtube superiore a quella standard . Al riguardo siamo disponibili per i chiarinmenti  e le considerazioni del caso.

Options are similar to the ones  available for other Moonlite focusers:

Standard Stepper Motor Option is operated via a quality made controller/handpad, with two triggers that allows to select respectively:

- step number / button puch

- steps' sequence velocity

result is most precise focusing action, without any inertial shifts nor overshootings.

As an added option, a PC Controller upgrade is available, allowing control by mean of any software implementing ASCOM protocol.

Cables can reach over 30m (standard is a 2m cable)

Tri Knob

When a larger microfocusing knob over the standard one is desired. The knob allow both micro and standard focusing on the same side (on the other side  the standard focusing action in already present)

Alta precisione e riposizionabilità.

MoonLite's new High Resolution stepper motor option uses a premium, low backlash Hurst stepper motor. This provides very fine and accurate position repeatability required for todays high end imaging systems. It comes as an option on all single rate model focusers (SCT, Refractor, and Newtonian). It has such a fine variable rate that the reduction unit is not needed. It also features a rotatable 2 part motor bracket, so it can be orientated into any position then locked in place, plus it can be mounted on the left or the right side. It also gives any single rate focuser a 10lb load capacity. Note: The Stepper Motor option must be picked at the time of purchase, as it is not a user-installed item. If you already have a Moonlite focuser we can install the option for you at no additional charge. It requires you ship the focuser to us for the installation." Please contact us for scheduling the upgrade on your existing focuser. Please note: The manual focus knob is inoperatable once the motor focus system is installed. It is a non-clutched direct drive system. The Stepper motor's 9 pin DBA connector is compatible with other stepper motor controllers such as Robo focus and our stepper motor controller at the bottom of this page.
