Developed to provide 5x amplification over the original focal lenght.
5x factor is the usual one needed on instruments whe applied to high resolution imaging on planets.
Over eyepiece projection, using a Barlow allows to have optics working at thier own design place: using this Barlow tipically allows better planarity and field of view correction over using projecting optics (that are designed to work as afocal systems).

Il fatore amplificativo 5x è quello più utilizzato per ottenere le lunghe focali usate per imaging in alta risoluzione e per amplificare le focali dei sistemi di guida. Diversamente dalla tecnica di proiezione dell'oculare (in cui gli oculari lavorano in un sistema finale NON afocale, e quind ditstante dalle condizion idi disgeno), questo sistema è dedicato e specifico per questo impiego per i lquale risulta ottimo performer con minma interposizione di elementi ottici e uso di un disegno ottico specifico. High Quality 2" barrel 2x Barlow. Fully multi coated optics, quality body. Retaining ring on 2" female barrel and on 1.25" female side of the adapter. The later host a 48mm thread to accept 2" filters.
The lens cell is mudular: you can detach it and apply it on our own 2" barrel extensions, getting other magnification factors (about from 1.5x to 3x).
Lens cell can also be detached and placed in front of all 2" eyepieces that can accept 2" filters, getting a 1.5x amplification over original magnification and a real improvement of image quality over the field.

Questo accessorio è montato su cella con filetto standard per la cella dei diffusi Schmidt Cassegrain commercilai (e gran parte dei Maksutov e Cassegrain).
Eè un'ottica che no nsolo riduce la focale originale di un fattore 0.66x, ma spiana la superficie focale (che notoriamente crea problemi nell'imaging con i Cassegrain, a casua della differenza di fuoco che lo schema originale presenta fra centro e bordo campo) e migliora nettamente la resa fuori asse (le immagini stellari riducoino fortemente lle sdistrorsioni dovute a coma e astigmatismo)
Si tratta di uno dei migliori accessori disponibili per le applicazioni di imaging: lo schema ottico di precisione, made in Japan e trattato antiriflesso multicoating conta quattro elementi: è una delle soluzioni più efficienti possibili.
- Consigliato in particolare per gli usi fotografici: - permette una riduzione drastica (riducendoli al 50%) dei tempi di esposizione - aumenta il campo inquadrato (aumento lineare del 51%; l'area del campo inquadrato aumenta al 229%). - la superficie focale viene spianata, e risulta un fuoco omogeneo sull'intero campo inquadrato, anche nell'impiego di sensori CCD e SLR di maggiori dimensionii - la funzione di correzione migliora nettamente la qualità delle immagini stellari extrassiali.

La soluzione che consente di estrarre il fuoco dai telescopi con carenza di backfocus senza stravolgerne i parametri ottici (una Barlow classica, dato il cammino ottico dei visori binoculari, avrebbe fattori amplificativi ben superiori). Da avvitare avanti il nasello dei visori binoculari come fosse un filtro 31.75mm.

Sviluppati dalla Denkmeier con l'usuale scrupolo e raccomandati dalla stessa Coronado. Degli unicum per realizzazione e qualità ottica.
Il modello per PST permette osservazioni binoculari del sole in luce H-Alfa (i trattamenti antiriflesso son ottimizzati proprio per la lunghezza d'onda di 6562.8 nm) ad ingrandimneti di (solo) 1.2x e di 2.5x.
Aanaloghe caratteristiche di ingrandimeno minimo hanno gli OCS "Cell 150" e "Part 'O' " per visione binoculare sui sistemi Coronado di maggiori dimensioni quali i diagonali BF dei sistemi Coronado 40, 60 e 90: ingrandimenti da 1.2x e 1.4x a 2.5x.

Denkmeier offers OCS specilized for H-Alfa observing with Coronado Systems.
The PST OCS allows both: 1.2x (very low !) and 2.5x binoviewing on PST; without this unit the PST will not reach focus with any binoviewer) his OCS is dedicated to Denk binoviewers.
To OCS dedicated to other Solarmax telescopes by Coronado. These units are best fit to the Denk binoviewers (whose a/r very high efficient coatings are centered on H-Alfa lambda for best performances as solar observing is very sensible to light diffusion and ghost images) and are only ones suggested by Coronado itself.
